Heckuva job, Arizona

Arizona's draconian new immigration law has already led to a case of racial profiling of an American-born citizen. A Mexican-American born in Fresno was detained until his wife went all the way to Arizona to take him his birth certificate. I was born in the San Joaquin Valley and I'm latino, just like this guy. So I can be thrown in jail and detained in Arizona if I don't have my birth certificate. Does that sound like America to you? That sounds like a motherfucking police state, like North Korea or China to me.

This law is un-American and unconstitutional, but how much you wanna bet the Teabaggers don't protest it? Noooo, they'd rather protest against non-existent things like "death panels" and "FEMA concentration camps". When their corporate overlords like Dick Armey or media masters like Rush, Beck and Palin don't tell them what to do, these dunces are totally lost and unable to form their own opinions. They have never protested Wall Street for crashing the economy either!

I'd trade in the Teabaggers for the illegal immigrants anyday!

ready for another religious rant?

How do fucking idiots like Tim Tebow and Sarah Palin get people to pay them hundreds and thousands of dollars to hear them speak in this country? and hell, Canada too? In the midst of a horrible recession no less?! How can people be so duped into lining the pockets of these ignorant fools as long as they “stand up for what they believe for” and “speak for them”?

Then again people still attend and give money to the appallingly corrupt Catholic Church so I really shouldn’t be shocked at how these fairy-tale religions continue to sucker the sheeple!

yes, it was this horrifying....

OK now that the Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament is over, can we quit pretending that womens’ basketball is on the same par as men's? To put the back-to-back national champion UConn women in the same class as the 1970's UCLA men’s teams with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Walton, etc., is highly insulting.

I’ve seen my nephew’s 6th grade boy’s team play more inspired than those college gals in the first half of the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME last night. What does that say about the quality of opponents who got blown out all season by UConn? Why do these women roll over and lose by 40, 50, even 70 points? Are they really even trying?

The local state university here had to end the popular men's wrestling and water polo teams to make way for new money-sucking women's lacrosse and women's equestrian teams in order to comply with Title IX. Equestrian!!! Wait, it gets worse: desperate to find women to join the equestrian team, the university recruited an inexperienced young girl who fell off a horse and DIED!!!!!

As if the tragic death of that young girl isn't enough, you will never find a better exhibit for the repeal of Title IX than this year’s NCAA Women’s tournament.

2010 MLB Predictions

Well, my boy Tim Lincecum will win his 3rd Cy Young in a row, of course! But I don't think my San Francisco Giants have a great shot at the NL West, cuz our hitting is still pretty anemic, but the Wild Card will be ours! The Colorado Rockies will take the West, as for the rest of the NL, I like the St. Louis Cardinals in the Central and as for the East, well, the Philadelphia Phillies are absolutely loaded (and not just with hot guys like Cole Hamels, Victorino, Chutley, etc.) and I just can't see anyone strong enough to topple them. I like the Phillies over the Rockies in the NLCS.

For the AL, I like the Seattle Mariners in the West, the Chicago White Sox in the Central, and I'd have to go with the Yankees over the Red Sox in the East, with Boston grabbing the Wild Card. I'm gonna go w/ NY over Boston in the ALCS, but I'm still not sure the Yankees will be the same team chemistry-wise w/o Hideki Matsui and Johnny Damon, plus their big stars like A-Rod and Derek Jeter are getting older and injuries are a growing concern, but I'll stick w/ them for now.

World Series: Philadelphia Phillies over the New York Yankees

Baseball is back, baby!

and not a moment too soon! Baseball is my favorite sport, and no not just because it has the hottest guys (in butt-hugging unis no less!), but because it's a thinking man's sport, not like football, which is the game of and for brutes! Baseball is nuanced while football is dumbed-down enough so it's easily consumed by the masses, especially one Sunday in February when it's a great excuse to feed our fat fucking faces! Ok, ok football is great too (and the one sport I actually played in high school), but it's baseball's time to shine, so check back for my 2010 predictions this weekend!
